Wild Things In the West: Part 1 Report

General Summary

Four new high-value recruits into the IERA have been grouped into what remains of REA Team 5. Allen Rousch is the Commander in charge of the unit, though it is rumored that his previous REA Team 5 agents were either obliterated in an LFER attack or were promoted into Region 1 for a secret assignment.   The Team has been relocated into the military housing units in what remains of Cheyenne’s FE Warren Air Force Base, but they are dispatched throughout the front range and deeper into the western region, as needed.   Today, their assignment was to 'clean-up' one of the bunkers on base, removing any threats that may exist from past experiments or other unknown causes.   The team begins their trek into the bunker down a narrow stairwell.

Turning into the hallway from the stairwell, Eightball is the first to see the grotesque sight of humanoid-looking centipedes crawling all over the ceilings and walls. He takes a brick from the ground and throws it at the one hanging from the pipe on the ceiling. All of the 'centipedes' take notice and come at him.
The other members of the team quickly engage alongside him, fighting back against their nasty, slim-ridden pincers.
But Eightball isn't satiated, and moves into a room with VERY high energy readings. He goads what looks like a mutated commander into 'coming out to play'. Eightball solidly swings a pipe in the face of the mutant and it falls backward...but is not stunned by Eightball's uncanny strength. The rest of the team joins the fray -- George (an IERA agent), Axiom, and Rupert all take their turns...but nothing seems to phase this mutant.
Will the newly formed REA Team 5 meet an untimely end at the hands of a two-faced mutant??:     Watch the entire video below:
