General Summary

Part I - William is a man of refinement and class. He finds himself in the penthouse of a frequented hotel in Haven Bay anytime he is in town. He sits, staring out at the Bay that backs up into Haven Bay, giving it its name. He talks with his Patron, a powerful spirit that has lost its memory, not knowing how it came to be in a pen that William carries with him at all times.    Part II - On their way to Valfold to discuss the ongoing conflicts between Taggert and Valfold, William is escorted by a Shaman named Dregz. Dregz is a Tiefling Magi with little desire for long conversation. He begrudgingly tells William that he can see the power he possesses. As such, he takes him to a spiritual plane where Eshe, William's patron, form is revealed. Dregz shows the world to William and four bright beams of light that shout out of it into space. They represent the guardians, Eshe, being one of them. he also points out the Black light, that seems much larger than the others. He states that the black light must be put out. He doesn't have time to explain as they land in Valfold.    Part III - Dregz later shows up to Williams room. He lets him know he is a KNG agent and that his skills are required. They know of no one else who has made contact with the Guardians in hundreds of years. They want him on the team. William and Eshe, inquisitive as they are, decide to join.    Part IV - William tells his boss, Leon Rosewood, the Elven master of Arms that he needs to resign and will be gone for some time. . Leon doesn't ask any questions and tells him if he ever needs a job, he knows where to find him.
