Session 11 - The return to Itel Report

Erdan silver petal dashes up to the kill switch sitting on the pedestal activating it. The rest of the party then feels a shock wave as magic pulses from the switch dusting all the cult members in the room. After a brief moment of recovery himo, erdan, aymar and avalor rush over to the sacrifice room where Anatta/ the knife made the distraction. while kai and stor watch over the kill switch.

As himo erdan aymar and avalor arrive they see the reaper hit anatta with a spell and she collapses. Himo quickly asked what happened trying to pose as a member of the cult. The reaper believing in himos tall tale promotes him to the knife. Then erdan aymar and avalor jump into action quickly dealing with the reaper just in time as kai and stor arrive. They tie him up and make sure Anatta is okay before going around the temple and looting.

The party then cracks the altar and sees quartz inside. Kai chips away at the outside layer of dark stone and reveals a quartz carving beneath. Stor and kai create a mediocre rub copy of the quartz pedestal that was buried under many years of dust and vine. They then walk around the temple finding a few scrolls and potions while erdan and avalor head to the upper spire of the temple finding a color changing bag of holding. Eventually they head down to the jail were they see five imprisoned individuals from klipten. The party eventually releases them and they ask to be brought to klipten.

The party leaves a little later and starts heading back to itel. On there way back they run into a mysterious metallic animal, it releases a cone of paralyzing breath most of the adventures duck out of the way in time but kai was hit lucky before he completely froze he managed to snap out of it while avlour shoots a well placed fire arrow into the beast. Stor then tries to collect some of the paralyzing breath but fails.

The party also notes that there is a second obelisk that they encounter instead of just one like before. They get back to town and give the reaper to some very capable looking guards and they promise the five people that were imprisoned they can take them back to klipten. Himo feels a tug on his shoulder from the gnome guard who gets him to sign papers for the ownership of the goldpetel/Trellen manor.
