8-16 The Beginning Report

General Summary

Party investigates Riverun and its strange residents. They find out that they're all connected to Frane and that they're looking for a book. They track him to the old meadery and ambush him in his study.   Frane informs them that time is running short and he has amassed all of his familiars to protect him. Zulex was able to get the book from him despite his overwhelming psychic energy. They escape as the cracks across the sky grow much deeper and an abberation storm moves from the cracks to Liberus. The party finds that the book is Waterdeep Dragon Heist and merge it with their existing book. Alumes and Vile interrupt their escape to inform them that the plane of stasis has fallen along with the Gigas Bahamut.
