Summary of Pre World Anvil Sessions

General Summary

Session 1: Sailing through crystal cove to Fairport. Sailing relatively smoothly, the party fought off cave pirates and a giant bat. After some terrible bartering they head to a tavern looking for work. They got into a bar fight in the Two Keys Tavern and jumped out a window escaping into an alley, with some bounties and contracts to work on.   Session 2: Party travels to the crossroads intent on completing the Cragmaw contract. Large goblin fight at the crossroads and the stumble upon a path that the goblins seem to take to the hideout.   Session 3: Party clears out cragmaw cave, nearly dying in the process. The slay Klarg the Bugbear and find some notes on him detailing a larger goblin horde they were unaware about, and a necromancer Klarg may have been working with.   Session 4: Party decides to head to a sawmill to pursue the necromancer detailed in one of the notes, which turned out to be a trap. They survive an undead attack and travel to Rowena's Rest, to gather their thoughts and recuperate.Party stays at the Blind Owl Inn and converses with some locals. In the morning Slagathor and Murlo steal from and attempt to kill Aileen, a shop owner. The session ends with the guards barging in to arrest them.   Session 5: Party arrested, spend day in jail awaiting trial. They face Baron Roland's judgement and just as Slagathor is about to be branded a siege breaks out. The Baron offers the party pardon in exchange for their aid in defending the city, and they accept. They fight their way out of the manor and in the streets of Rowena's Rest.   Session 6: Party successfully defended Rowena's Rest and defeated King Bulwer in the town square. After the victory the guilty received a pardon from the Baron on account of their heroic actions saving the town. They made their way out of town and Slagathor took two goats leaving 50 gold on an old man's porch. He fixed the goats to a wagon and the party then made their way back to Fairport where they collected a bounty of gold for defeating Cragmaw Clan, and Murlo and Slagathor attempted to barter once again with Corky and Archy, the gnome brothers at Gnome Depot. Danyver made his way to the two keys tavern seeking information on thieves that might have stolen a horse, while the other two eventually decided to follow him.
