Under the Underdark

In the beginning of time, there was darkness... The beings of the depths used to rule the world of Durin, controlling the weak and strong-minded alike clouding their judgment as if not their own. A human named Seallitheal broke free of the hold on his mind and began to wake his brothers and sisters from the hold they were once under. One by one they grow eventually to overthrow their once former masters of the dark. Seallitheal and his followers fought alongside humans, elves, orcs, and many other races in a war with their former masters that spanned decades.   However, through war and time Seallitheal a once strong & courageous warrior, grew old and weary and his mind became weak. His former masters saw this as an opportunity and sought to control him and the world once more. They eventually reclaimed his mind as their own and the war went on but the longer he was under their control the weaker the resistance became.   As soon as the resistance thought all hope was lost a crack of light began to open in the sky and then the Gods poured out of it releasing their titans and dragons lose on our world fight alongside mortals to end the master's grip on Durin. The fight was short and swift and the sent them back to which the masters came... Back to what some say is the Underdark, a world beneath ours never found or none to be found. In which our former masters still reside to this day. Seallitheal was recognized for his great actions as a mortal and his fight against the masters. After they cleared his mind they bestowed upon him the gift, of immortality never growing old and gave him the gift of the infinite wisdom of the arcane ways of magic and physical combat. To this day he remains ruler of these lands in the Kingdom of Elamma.
