Session 114: Breakfast & Bracken

General Summary

  The Dragon Punchers stored their discovery in Jinn's quarters upon returning to Mas'Uld. After Sir Bartleby determined that several of the crates contained either monsters or poison, Jinn summoned his brothers Faris and Arashtra to bring them up to date. With inspiration from Micah, the group hatched a scheme to release one of the creatures into the Sanguine Arena. Over dessert they revealed this proposition to Chandra and her latest beau, an arena champion by the name of Liinginhal.   The next day, at their traditional breakfast meeting, the Dragon Punchers sat down with the king and queen, as well as several other members of the royal family, and fleshed out their plans. Though loathe to admit it, the group agreed that sending Mani, Chandra, Aditi, and Wasim into the Feywild may no longer be prudent. The discovery of the creatures in the warehouse moved forward timetables considerably, and Jaskaran's intentions remained unclear.   However, nothing could be done until the heartwood was secured. Chari could not inhabit an octopus forever. Following a rough teleportation to the grove, the party discovered the cart Osdra had sent back did not arrive at its intended destination. Instead, they found one of the members of the Grove fighting for their life against a colossal creature of wood, electricity, and pure malice. Micah's killing blow sent splinters flying. When the air cleared, and all had been brought back to consciousness, the druid thanked them for their assistance. The party followed their new ally deeper into the Cinderwolf Forest to recover the wayward cart.
