Session 16: Adventures in SPACE Report

General Summary

After leaving Evernight to conduct her body heist in peace, the cabal decided to investigate other leads now that the Megalodon threat was dealt with.   Remembering the diagnostic buoys in the waters off the coast of Nova Secundus, and having taken a bolt from one of them, Lucas used his newfound Space Discipleship to grab a sympathetic connection to it and Colocate it to their location in a nearby sewer. Following the signal of data transmitted from it visually, the cabal drove through downtown and traced its data destination to a large city-block-sized facility near Aspire Square. By tracing its connections, he realized that it was tied to a receiver inside a lab within the facility. Attempts to scry on the receiver using this newly-borrowed connection ran up against a failed Clash of Wills however, rebuffing Lucas' spell. They cabal now knows that this laboratory is protected by some supernatural veiling effect. Mandelbrot used Prophecy to investigate the possible fallout from attempting to enter the facility through other means.   Afterwards, Lucas found himself investigating the GPS coordinates sent to him in response to his application. He found himself in a boat alone off the shore, and discovered a small warehouse-sized metal cylinder on the seashore below using a combination of Darkvision and Outward and Inward Eye. He took so long to perceive it however, that he was numbed to the bone by the cold and failed to use his Space magic to bring himself to the seafloor and left in frustration.   Messenger ended the session by meditating into her own Oneiros to do some exploration.
