Session 9 - The Investigation Closes
General Summary
With the ordeals of the Vermyn caves behind them, the party was escorted back to Tribute while Vladik and Sorcha proceeded to the Barrow Estate to conclude their investigation. After reviewing the scene, interviewing the key witnesses (that they could locate) Vladik returned back to Trbibute to meet with the villagers. They were surprised to learn that Sophitia Barrows was also missing, however whether that meant her fate had followed her fathers, or she had simply chosen to escape the area with Declan is unknown. Regardless, The Constable cleared the three remaining suspects of the investigation, and personally thanked them for their assistance with the bandit threat. After some discussion, Vargan reluctantly shares the secrets of his past, and reveals that he is fact a Lycean - and has been summoned south to a gathering of his people. To his surprise, Buck and Wilhelm were strongly supportive of their friend, and instead of joining his people - he helped the three of them find work on The Periwinkle, a battered old cargo hauler on course to Rystanburg. With the Bandit Threat finally resolved, Father Wilhelm is returning to the Cathedral in Rystanburg to get the elder's opinion on his newfound divine power.
