It is early spring and the High Teche does not emerge from the embrace of the illness she bore through the winter. The men of Buckley are missing, strange folk lurking about in aquamarine Tempest robes, there is digging around an old tower north of town, and most recently the Temple of Fortitude is wracked by fire. A small group might hold the answers: a monk bearing a text written in Qualith; an outlander fleeing the memory of his slain family; a renegade cultist now devoted to Life for the All-Father; a southlander with a stilted accent and the ability to wield tremendous magic; and a socially awkward gnome refugee looking for a friend.
