Session 6 Report

General Summary

The party breaks camp and travels east to catch up with the humans that burnt down the undine nesting village. As they travel, a hunter named Azairah attacks Kith's bear, thinking that the bear was going to attack the party. The party stops him and keeps Kith from killing him. They ask him if he saw any people come by and Azairah mentions what looked like soldiers walking by and points them in the direction they went. Goodman tells Azairah to go home and get ready for a major fight to break out across the land. He leaves and the party continues to track down the soldiers, eventually coming up to them. They introduce themselves to the band of 12 soldiers and their leader, Sergeant Sinn, introduces them back. After asking what they were up to in these lands, Sergeant Sinn tells them they're running natives out of the lands under Count Gollin's orders. The party talks about going to talk to him and so Sergeant Sinn offers to escort them there, to which they take up his offer.   After arriving at Castle Hartgar, the party sets up a meeting with the count and are told he currently has a guest with him. After several minutes, they're told Count Gollin is ready for them and they enter to find Count Gollin in his seat with Duke Gorwin standing beside him. They question Count Gollin on what he's doing with the soldiers and learn he was tasked by Duke Fractun to secure the frontier for further expansion and settlement. When pressed about the undine, Count Gollin expresses his lack of care for their people. The party argues that establishing trade relations with the undine and keeping them as allies will lead to better profits. Duke Gorwin agrees to this idea and says he'll think on it. Most of the party stay in the castle overnight, drinking and being merry, while Kith stays outside the castle with his bear. Katerina sleeps with several soldiers and Goodman loses an arm wrestle with Sergeant Sinn.
