Session 7

General Summary

After getting a reply from Reinga, River, Cieri, and Plural met up with him at the Emerald Scroll. Here they met Menelaus who welcomed them to the awakened society. After their meeting with Reinga, he promised to ask around for someone more powerful that could help them remove the Anchor on the building. On their way out, River talked briefly with Arathnos who was also present. He seemed to be swamped with work and made a quick remark about a powerful necromancer coming into town soon.   The following day, River receives a phone call from an older woman named Hydra, who turned out to be one of the councilors in the Consilium. She proposed a deal in which she would remove the Ghosts and the Anchor in exchange for keeping this deal a secret. The cabal all agreed and met up with the Gravediggers at the Asylum the following day. Here the Cabal swore an oath together with Hydra: Hydra would take the Ghosts away and remove the Anchor or else her body should be broken. The Cabal each swore to keep this favor a secret and also keep Hydra's involvement with the Gravediggers a secret. Everyone stated the same consequence except for Aiden who instead stated that his mind should be broken instead, should he not uphold the oath. Plural got to add "So long as no one else reveals this secret, I shall keep it too".   After completing the spell that binds them all to the oath, Hydra went inside alone with a few members of the Gravediggers. About an hour later she came back out and all of the Ghosts - along with the Anchor, were gone.
