Session 2 Report
General Summary
The party (and most of the rest of the hunters of the 6th Fleet) make it to shore. As Veneficus Verlander and Krusty join some of the other hunters in search of firewood and temporary shelter - and find both within a few hundred yards of the vast shoreline.
As morning breaks, Kormic makes his rounds, splitting the Hunters up into groups to explore the area for food, supplies, and long-term shelter. He tasks our adventurers to comb the shoreline heading North.
Along the path, they are attacked by 3 armored, shark-like monsters called Zamites, who the party makes quick work of. They quickly bring their bodies back to camp so that they may be used as food.
They then head farther down the coastline, where they see a Great Jagras - a large, yellow, iguana-like monster - being attacked by 3 Cephalos in what looks to be a turf war. The Cephalos end up driving away the great jagras, but one of them stays behind and makes a failed attempt on getting the drop on the party. The monster hit hard - even knocking out Veneficus Griswold and temporarily bringing Krusty to his knees - but in the end, our adventurers prevailed.
After taking a short rest along the rock line, the party hears a murmured voice coming out of an opening in the craggy cliff side. They find themselves in a cavern-like area, as they come across a half-giant chained to the rocks. He is bloody, bruised, and beaten within an inch of life.
