  • Riffort
Riffort once was a simple Town at the northern edge of Sora and Zaraton. Despite being close to the borders of Rakil, it prefered to stay away form politics and was not as heavily guarded as some of the citys and towns around it. Riffort was also known as the Town of the Bright Moon, as many lycans live there in harmony with the townfolk. This was not always the case, as many many years ago, during the lycan Plague, many inhabitants lost theire lives to the ravaging Lycanthropes. They began hunting them down, however as they later learned not all lycans where against them. Since then those who sided with the townfolk, give their curse or blessing, however you view it, to those strong in mind. However during the uprise of the blackwings, the lycans went out to destroy a nearby camp. In their rampage, they couldn't controll themselve and turned the blackwings into Lycanthropes themselve. They where so into the rampage infact that they even attacked 4 adventurer from Argaroth, who came to destroy the blackwings aswell, turning them into Lycanthropes aswell.   However the worst event was yet to hit them. After the failed siege of Orthesia the body of Brix and Varis was dragged into the river and landed in the Shaded Depths. But something happend to them. When they arrived at shore, theire skin was pale white and they looked like hidious monsters. As some fisherman inspected the corpses, they suddenly rose up and bite the fisherman, turning them to the same beasts that they have become. And so the Ghouls spread. In additon to that, skeletons and zombies rose from the grave of the city to help the Ghouls spread their plague. The townfolk defended their town firce, but eventually fell to the Ghouls and became part of their undead army. Now the town is nothing but ruins inhabitant by all sorts of undead.

  • Nesmira
Geography: -Continent: Erraknia -Country: Zaraton -Province: Sora -Inhabitant: 120   Diplomacy: -Baron: Thales Exekias (Human/Lawefull good) -Wife: Iaera Exekias (Human/Neutral good) -Agent: Sorestin (Gnome/Lawfull neutral)   Defense: -Guards (10) -Guard Patrolls everynight -Leader: Korin Lormbei (Human/Lawfull good)     Regligion: -Small Church for Boldrei       About: Nesmira was a small Village near a lush Forest, right next to a small river. The first thing people noticed when visiting, where the many many large fields around it. Crops in all kind of size and colour could be found on them. Nesmira was 100% based on the Farms. Things like Stone and Wood needed to be imported from the close Citys. This made Armour and Weapons very expensive. Althought mostly Humans lived there, sometimes you did saw Goblins and Gnome walking down the streets. There where never any real problems between the Humans and goblins or Gnomes. In fact, Nesmira was the opposite to the Country itself. Nesmira was a welcoming place that lets everyone who visit it feel well. They had a weak Protection, but since the Capital aws not far, they don't need more. Just enough to scare the wild animals and bandits. The Tavern was well known for its freindly Barkeeper, *and his Daugther apprently for some*, Barel himself loved his guests. He never had any troubles with them. Overall Nesmira seemd like a perfect place. But even the greatest of Places had theire Flaws. Since they are so close to the forest, Wild animal attacks are very common. Usually a small group of 5 Soldiers is enough to prevent that. However when the Blackwings attacked the city suprising them, they where no match for them and Nesmira was burned almost entirly to the ground. Its said that their where no survivors. Now its nothing more then ruins and dead bodys.
  • Loras
Diplomacy: Mayor: Lamard Kirn (Half-Elf) Council Represantives:
    • Baruk Selt (Half-Orc) Represents Military
    • Nania Keldun (Vedalke) Represents Trading
    • Larkub Selt (Half-Elf) Represents Farmer

Religon: No Temple or Church. Most belive in either their chief deity or (mostly Humans) in Arawai (Godess of Fertility)
Loras is a Small Settlement, south of the Silver Mountains. A simple rather isolated place that rarly gets any visitors. Most foreign people that do get here, either pass through to the larger Citys of Kirkhel or Orthesia, or are merchants that try to sell their goods. However that turns out to be generally hard as the People of Loras generally learned to live without the need of import. On the same hand, because of the generally unsafe roads that merchants are required to take, export is just as rare. But with the ressources of the Silver Mountains, the fish of the rivers, the forest and the crops of the farmer, they are well put to keep themselve alive. The Houses are kept rather simple and the defence consisted of a few guards and 2 towers. Usually enough to keep the Bandits away from the city, but bandit tribes are not a uncommon problem non the less. However most reccently, they seem to be the Settlments smaller problem, as their appears to be a Tribe of Kobolds hiding in one of the old Caves in the Mountain, attempting to summon a ancient beast. However being isolated like that it was hard finding help. Specially when most thought they where just going crazy from the lonliness.
Loras is a small Settlment, perhaps just a foot note in a adventurers carrer, but some things don't seem to be what they appear to be.
  • Kirkhel
    Diplomacy:
Council of Wizards, made out of:
    • Hernukles Chief Wizard of Illusion
    • Nebulia Chief Wizard of Conjuration
    • Kernul Chief Wizard of Evocation
    • Legastor Chief Wizard of Transmutation
Religon: Temple to Mystra, almost entire City believes in her.  Is the Patron God of Kirkhel
Kirkhel is one of the larger Cities in Zaraton, and is well known among the land as the Capital of Magic. It houses the largest Library in all of Zaraton, maybe even all of Erraknia. Magic flows through every house and wall of the City. Even just visiting, you can feel the energy just flow through you. Kirkhel is on the surface a wealthy City with magic users inhabiting it in its entirety. However those born without a native sense of magic, are often outcasts, unable to get good work. This often leads to them leaving the City, which is why non magic users are so rarely seen.
The Leaders of the City, a council of old Wizards, are rarely seen on the streets, often operating from their great halls on top of the Academy of Wizardry. The Academy, just like the Library was quite famous as well, being the best Academy in all of Erraknia. This popularity often means that it was incredibly hard to get into it, and only the most talented Students make it into the Academy. Its a brutal school with no mercy for slip ups. But those that succeed often return as powerful Wizards, many of which became extremely famous soon after, or stayed to become teachers of the arcane art themself. All depths of Magic are taught there, from Conjuration to Necromancy.
Besides being a Temple of knowledge, the Grand Library has a second function. It serves as shackles for the Book of Vecna, also known as Book of Vile Darkness. A terrible dark book that, in the wrong hands, can cause utter chaos. Those things combined, make Kirkhel a priority target in wars and cultistic movements. But Kirkhel is not undefended. In fact Kirkhel has one of the most powerful City stationed armies in all of Zaraton. As almost every Warrior in the ranks of the Army uses magic to increase their strength. From fiery blades, to straight up sending Fireballs into the enemy lines, storming Kirkhel is by no means a easy task.
The beauty of the city is not often reflected in the personality of the Citizens. They are often arrogant, seeing themself above most others. Its not rare to see People activly manipulate others to weaken their rivals stance or just to boost their own popularity. That being said, not all are like this, but those are usually non magic users and lower class citizens.
Kirkhel is a beautiful City and without a doubt one of the most important Cities in Zaraton. And even the arrogance of the people living in it, doesn't stop hundreds and thousands of travelers to visit the City.
