Aftermath in Hydraxi

General Summary

The crew found themselves in the garage that was still smoldering from the fire unleashed by Dadlum and Habeeb. The team quickly began investigating the bodies of their assailants and were unable to find any distinguishing marks, but Dadlum pocketed 2 sets of explosives and a comlink. As they were finishing with the bodies they heard approaching sirens.   Dadlum broke a back door and bounced fast and hard. He sneaked through the alleys in the Industrial District and made his way back to his speeder. He mounted his speeder, but some cops were trying to stop him. When he took off they took shots at him, and one managed to clip his shoulder. Despite the pain he took off and made his way back to his safehouse.   While this was happening the others were being held at gunpoint by uniformed officers until Gradu introduced himself as the Detective in charge and recognized Korrin and Ivan as Jedi. Content that they were not criminals he handed the investigation over to his partner Qani who proceeded to question them. She developed a quick rapport with Ivan and they parted as friends.   The team managed to leverage that new relationship by explaining that their CI (Dadlum) had fled the scene on instinct, but that they were on the heels of a very important case. She agreed to let them go on the condition they remain in contact and don't leave Worlport.   With that everybody made their way back to the safehouse where they caught each other up. Ivan suggested they use the burner comlink (that Dadlum found) to see who the contact was. Upon starting the call they heard Rojo's phone ring and realized he was the contact. They (somehow?) passed off a story about The Ripper Gang having jumped him men and insisted that they tried to clean it up.   About that time Knuckles knocked on the door and told them to let Rojo go. Rojo said everybody was good here and decided to change the plan. He decided to stick to the letter of his contract and only take out "The Alpha Target" but said that he wasn't going to go through with their distraction of blowing up the hopsital. The team (quickly) offered to help prevent the hospital from blowing up. He provided a spec about where the bombs are and let them go for it. He said that him and Knuckles would take out The Alpha Target.   With Qani's help (and after a heated exchange between her and Dadlum about reparations for getting shot) they got into the hospital after hours. Korrin decided to sit this one out on the steps of the Hospital while the others got inside to take out the baddies. They broke into the pharmacy, Habeeb picked up a disguise and everybody else got implements to knock people out.   Now ready, they marched down to the morgue and when they entered the morgue Dadlum spooked the three guys and they opened fire...

They met Gradu and Qani who investigated them at Hydraxi.   Janos Vox (aka "Knuckles") showed up at the safehouse to come retrieve Rowjose. He came peaceably, but made it obvious that he was going to leave with Rojo no matter what.
