Session 11: Terminus Station (Pt. VII) Report

General Summary

After recouperating a little in the kitchen of Basement 2, the party decide to split up so that Job can get like, sleep as soon as feasibly possible, and Mica can try to break into the safe she found on Basement 1. Misvari explains that the teleporter's a little glitchy, but only a problem if trying to teleport to the top or bottom levels; otherwise, worse case scenario, the user will just end up on the wrong floor.   The party get to the teleporter and their stash of documents, guarded by their mushroom friends, without incident. Misvari and Job rest up with the documents, while Kriskain and Mica investigate the bull pit they'd passed through on their way in. Kriskain breaks into the head honcho's office and gets immediately distracted by blinds, while Mica finds a nice ballpoint pen, some rainbow flags in the cup holders, some more financial documents and the safe combo. On the way back to the teleporter, they encounter a couple of dust mephits for the third time; the mephits finally realise they're unaccompanied and make their attack. Mica and the first mephit have a dark and bloody duel. Kriskain and the second mephit keep missing each other with their attacks. Mica finishes the fight with witch bolt.   Mica cracks into the safe and finds a veritable treasure trove. She's swept up in the Adventure of it all, only to be stopped from pocketing some of it by Job, who points out that it's the station's wealth.   Kriskain and Mica, perched upon the pile of documents, teleport up and find themselves on the level below. Mica spots the security camera and decides they're safe; sure enough, they're met by Stamie and Mic and escorted up the stairs. Meanwhile, Misvari and Job end up on the right level, and Misvari convinces Job to let Darrow know he's alive, which he does, to Darrow's shock. Misvari and Job head upstairs; Job finds most of his stuff's been packed up, so he steals a set of Darrow's clothes.   Kriskain and Mica just miss Misvari and Job; they find a shell-shocked Darrow, who they further shock by revealing that 1. Val and Lomion are running amok somewhere, 2. they were the task force that rescued Job, 3. Val died?? and was resurrected??? and 4. There's a dragon??? Mica gives Darrow some of Job's tea, not realising the significance. Darrow asks them to stay free of charge in the inn, because he Can't Deal With All This. Kriskain and Mica head down to find Mic, who shows them to their rooms. Mica goes to check on Mica and Lomion and finds them both missing.
