Session Eight: Legion Revealed

General Summary

At the request of Commander Thani Halas of Tosi Station, Captain Harriman is taking the Argus to the Sabokarr System in a nearby grey sector. One Captain Denuvan Ovar Paetryc has requested Coalition support in a first contact situation.   Upon transitioning from foldspace to real space, the Argus picks up an automated distress call from Captain Paetryc.   The captain takes a shuttle down to the planet with most of his senior staff and four marines. The navigator and the chief medical officer stay aboard the Argus.   They encounter the Sabok for the first time, and negotiate the freedom of Captain Paetryc, but at the cost of his Venture Class starship, the Fair Trader.  Chief Engineer Mirage goes out of his way to impress the natives with his importance.  Comdr. Lazarus AO destroys Captain Paetryc's posessions because of a robotic rabbit in his overstuffed duffle bag.   The Sabok Chieftain and two honor guards are brought up to the Argus before being flown to the capitol (which was 12 days travel according to the chieftain) to meet the god-queen Ashinoe.
