On Wings of Shade

Peaceful and prosperous for a time, Marilla exists in a state of outward-facing harmony. But underneath the glistening white of the pearl, cracks form, and infection is allowed to fester. Deep within the aching heart of a beast long slumbering thunders like the shuddering echoes of lightning. It beats, like war drums, it begs for vengeance, and it will infect everything it touches like a virus hell-bent on destruction, and nothing can stop it.
