Session 8: What does this Riddle Mean? Report

General Summary

Night of the 6th day of the Red Moon

The party begins to try and piece together the riddle they found at the Statue of Crerare. It seems to point at the region of Dwarfhome as the next place for the adventurers to find the Tomb of Crerare. While leaving the statue area N4 spots the statue moving and finds its hand outstretched with a Circlet of Slate in its grasp.   Tenerok uses Dispell Magic to free Azarath from the polymorph spell and returns him to his elven nature. While traveling through the graveyard the party hears a strange voice on the wind and Maz accepts "its experience". All of the party randomly floats up into the air and N4 turns into a giant eagle and flies them out of the strange area of effect.   The party finds Spari at the Toasted Scholar and shares the riddle with her. Azarath, while invisible, pulls down Teneroak's pants and reveals... a small penis.   Spari tells the party that she discovered that the Hammer of the Fen seems to be in the northern section of Crook Crag. She found mention of The Artificer's Laboratory. In order to communicate with them, Spari gives the party a Sending Stone. They then sleep at the Bunks of the Apprentices and in the morning teleport to Crook Crag. Teneroak, unfortunately, botches the teleportation and the party finds themselves separated.
