Session 15 Report

General Summary

After Combat with the Babau the party regards Maz and finds that the blood-weeping eyes have changed. Lightning bolt-like fissures are cracking along his face.   The party continues on to the Crook Crag encampment, hoping that Rex was not the one to betray them. They find five massive tents in the center of a series of trenches and pallisades. Illuthar guards patrol the encampment which sits around a massive hole in the ground. After speaking with a guard, Bahal the Mage of Necromancy from the Driada Guild.   He is a bulbous monstrosity who barely fits on a floating divan that carries him. He does not want any of their assistance but agrees to let them help as... thralls. After asking for time to think, they are allowed to leave and spend the night in the hills.  

7 am on the 12th day of the Orange Moon

  Returning to the Crook Crag Encampment the party is escorted to the Tent of Bahal. The first chamber, its clear the tent is extradimensional, is a large chamber with a fountain that elven blood flows through. Four of the hooded servants stand in each corner. Bahal tells the party that he knows Alaziel seeks the dagger and it is not in their Tomb.   The party has made their way back to the Isle of Mystrium's Encampment with a prayer on their lips that Rex did not betray them. They are let into the encampment and discover Rex is in the Canteen. Azarath sneaks into the Green Tent that belongs to the Mulvin Wizard. Datheor finds an old potion that is marked with the draconic words for Health, Death, and Lever.   Rex returns to his tent, jovial to see the party, and is disturbed to find out that it is indeed Bahal leading the Crook Crag Contigent.
