Session 2: What is this Mysterious Scrawl? Report

General Summary

The morning of the 15th day of the Orange Moon opens up with some discoveries and new friends. Mattyito investigates and finds that the diamond you found is magical and can open a doorway. It was grafted into the body of the Fen Hunter. Lord N4 figures out the cipher on the arm of the Fen Hunter.

Return to the isle and begin the quest for crerare's tomb. I shall begin the enslavement of the elves. Ashniel will remain with the maker -the pale man.

  A leonin comes to the party's door saying Lord Arien sent him to them because he is also hunting the Fen. Datheor is his name and he agrees to help the party.   Investigating the bodies of the Red Armor Assassins reveals they died from nerve gas that they poisoned themselves with. Inside their chest cavities you find iron amulets emblazoned with a bloody dagger.   Datheor meets Lilith in the Astronomy Tower and finds that she is muttering the same thing over and over again to herself,

After going up to the Astronomy tower himself, Mattyito finds a lense that he thinks could be used to upgrade his crossbow.   Going back to the woods the party finds the area where they had fought the night before. The symbols are fading on the tree trunk but fortunately, Datheor finds a copy of the temporary portal spell. It is decided, mostly by Mattyito, to build the portal anew... in the lake. Before this, N4 uses Michael Hedgerow to send a letter to the Levell Family in hopes it will reach the Elven Woods.

  He then proceeds to pay two of the dwarven mercenaries with 69 gold to join you in going through the portal. They agree but only on the condition that after 2 days they can return to their homes in Haben.   The party all goes through the portal... but it was done incorrectly. They find themselves in the center of theVillage of Libraries. Water splashes all around the party; and one of the dwarves heads materialized into the stone of a fountain.
