Hi, everyone!

If you're reading this, thank you! Welcome to the world of Orosta!

Special thanks to the World Anvil team for creating this new platform. I'm so excited to begin sharing this work, and I hope you all will enjoy!

This novel is something I have been working on for a very long time, and as of a few months ago, I have officially completed the manuscript for The Ruin of the Dragon Part I: The Stag. The novel itself is Part One of a four-part series. What is sampled here is the first chapter from Part I.

As of right now, The Ruin of the Dragon Part II: The Unicorn, is four chapters away from being completed. The Ruin of the Dragon Part III: The Wolf and The Ruin of the Dragon Part IV: The Dragon I hope to finish by the end of next year (2021) assuming everything goes well. After that, it's off to the editing and publishing races, so stay tuned, share with your friends, and ask any questions you may have! I'm an open book until we start getting into spoiler territory. Then, alas, mum's the word . . . for now.

If you would like to leave a review or simply comment down below what you liked, disliked, or anything in between, I'd love it and feel comforted knowing I wasn't just talking to myself through a screen, after all.

For more information, book updates, or if you just want to say hi, follow me on Twitter @JLGryphon. See you there!

Special Note for my WorldAnvil World. 1). I definitely have one, and it is rather . . . extensive. 2). Right now, my entire world is set to private, but this is only because the entire world is a volcano of spoilers! I'm not kidding.

Right now, I am working on how to share the world without spoiling the entire series, especially with the launch of this new platform where, if people like the story, they will want to know more. I'm fully aware and understanding of that and am currently scheming for a way to make this possible. *dons my evil villain cowel*

Please let me know in the comments below if you would like to see the world, and I will do my best to release at least sections of it to the public assuming I can weed out anything too juicy. It's all one big tapestry at the moment. You pull one thread, and the entire thing unravels. I'll do my best if people ask!

Once again, welcome to the world of Orosta; but be forewarned, and always remember:

Dragons lie.

Sincerely,

J. L. Gryphon
