Chapter 2: The Black Book

  1. For a time did Brandish and Fell keep upon their children their countenance
  2. Unto this time, their adoration had become trite and their peace unblemished with strife
  3. Fell did come upon Brandish and demand duality in all things.
Brandish did acquiesce to his brother, for all things must exist in duality.
From duality were the children of the Green born and from duality they must live.
  4. He took upon the seed of Brandish and into himself did create another life.
  5. Whence Brandish was peace and unto him created the Children of the Green, Fell was chaos and unto him was created the Children of the Shadow.
  6. They lay unto the lands and did birth this shadow upon it, like unto a quaking beneath their feet.
The Green was torn, the creation of this shadow wrent it asunder.
  7. The shadow did shatter the lands, its countenance an abomination unto the The People.
The Children of the Shadow did gnash and maw with grinding of teeth and wailing of children and scratching of bones, they did feed upon the Children of the Green.
  8. Strife now brought into the land, did bring about the duality sought by Fell.
Just as unto Brandish, Fell did liken himself otherwise; the Children of the Shadow were otherwise unlike the Children of the Green.
  9. The Land of the Green now shattered, brought up whence its peace broken, they (1) did begin their journey out from its barren salts.
  10. The Children of Shadow did wander forth into their own nests and took their existance into hiding, as the shadows were their only haven.
So unto them they began their journey into the lands where shadows only rest but eternity.
  11. The Children of the  Green began their journey, into the lands and waters of The World they did not know before.
  12. The Twin Fathers did pick among the Children the bravest of souls and spake unto them great tidings, for their loins would spring forth the Arbiters of the Fathers, upon which they would settle the lands discovered as their own and tame The World.
