This ritualistic spear appears to be soaked in wet blood permanently, even though the spear feels solid to the touch. This spear was used for bloodletting rituals, but it can also be used for a darker purpose. The spear can be used to drain the life from those killed with it, transferring their life force to its wielder, imbuing that individual with the stamina to keep fighting.
When you hit with a melee attack using this magic spear and reduce the target to 0 hit points, you gain 2d6 temporary hit points.
Proficiency with a spear allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
