Each one of this set of four quad-bladed shuriken is engraved with glyphs corresponding to one of the four primal elements: earth, air, fire, and water. It is a magical weapon, granting +2 bonus to attack rolls and it deals an additional 2d4 damage corresponding to the element of the shuriken (fire for fire, cold for water, lighting for air, and bludgeoning for earth). Furthermore, the creature struck by this shuriken is vulnerable to the next successful attack whose damage matches that type.
A monk exploiting this damage vulnerability can use the shuriken as a conduit for their ki. When you would spend two or more ki points to use an attack ability against a creature struck by this dart, the ability costs half the normal amount of ki points (rounded down).
