You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. While attuned to this weapon you are able to speak in a limited manner to beasts, such as describing creatures and locations or asking simple questions, and are able to understand them in return. You can also use an action to cast the spell faerie fire once per day.

In addition, this weapon has 3 charges and regains 1d4 - 1 charges at dawn. You can expend one charge as a bonus action to imbue an arrow with fey charm that lasts for 1 round or until shot. When this arrow hits a creature, they must succeed a DC 13 Wisdom save or be charmed by you for 1 minute or until you or your companions do anything harmful to it. A charmed target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns. If the saving throw is successful, the effect ends on it. A target that successfully saves is immune to being charmed in this way for the next 24 hours.
