Walk With Nature

Wood elves are born with the innate magic that infuses the land of Erda coursing through their blood. They are tied to the Nature Gods. the natural world becomes part of their hair and skin. They call these manifestations "blessings". These blessings by Nature Gods can make them look very fae-like.    When a wood elf arises after their meditation they connect with an aspect of nature. One of nature's aspects become their focus. Each walk has benefits, however if they remain in the state for more than a couple days they can develop behaviors that are detrimental   Their appearance will reflect the influences of their walk. .

Woodwalk

Immediately after they use Fey Step, up to two creatures of their choice that they can see within 10 feet of the they must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be charmed by the elf for 1 minute, or until you or your companions deal any damage to it.   When they are focused upon they woods and earth they value the connectedness of all things, whether it be nature or of creatures with one another. The circle of life, balance within nature, the interconnectedness of all things in the earth's domain. It is what binds all beings of Erda.   The elf's need for community and being part of the cycle becomes the priority. Working together, acting as a team for something that will help those around them becomes a necessary part of their purpose. This is the most likely state for a wood elf to be in when it is not necessary for them to be alone. The longer they are in this state the more it is necessary for them to be actively part of a group. Within a few days if they remain in this state they will refuse to leave their companions for more than a few minutes for any reason.

Skywalk

When they use Fey Step, one creature of their choice that they can see within 5 feet of them before they teleport must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be frightened of them until the end of their next turn.   This can be the winds of change. They may be happy and light. The air is a moving thing it brings moments clarity and a freshness that will pull them forward to what they must do, it changes itself and those around it. Because of how light hearted they usually are in this state, wood elves often choose it as their walk. However, it is not always a sweet spring breeze that blows in this walk. An ill wind from within can cause an elf to become unbearably neurotic. The likelihood of this increases with the more time an elf chooses to skywalk.   The sky is one of the strongest representations of the passing of time, the cycle of day and night. It can be a time of whispered memories. The feelings the past brings to an elf are deep. As an elf there are far too many days in the past, and when they seep back to the present it can cause them to be overwhelmed. An elf in this state is likely share pieces of their past in glancing moments, and need help getting back to focusing on the present. They become excellent criticizing any course of action, which leads to inaction.

Waterwalk

When they use their Fey Step, they can touch one willing creature within 5 feet. That creature then teleports instead of the elf, appearing in an unoccupied space of their choice that they can see within 30 feet of them.   During this time when they are their most charming. Water is flowing, their heart is light and they have a song in their heart. Usually on their lips as well, humming and singing is a constant. On days when an elf waterwalks, their thoughts drift, like the petals on a bubbling spring, their skin feels like the tips of a cats whiskers, and they are light and happy. Their eyes look far away and dreamy. The air around them smells fresh, they can see newness in all things.   When they choose this walk over a period of days their need for movement increases. They have have racing thoughts and fidget. How can they remain focused with so much movement within? They struggle to dam back the need for flow and movement. If this happens for too long they will burst, and this will be an unstoppable eruption of uncontrollable action. Their bodies must move. Staying still is not an option, how can anyone stay still and not JUST DO?!

Flamewalk

Immediately after they use their Fey Step, each creature of their choice that they can see within 5 feet of them takes fire damage equal to their Charisma modifier (minimum of 1 damage).   In the element of fire a wood elf feels the warmth of the gods, heat flowing through their veins. They feel forces beyond themselves driving them, and feel purpose. In this focus wood elves are direct. They are ready to go out and conquer the world. The awareness of their abilities are driving them and they believe they can meld the world into the form they desire.   During this time an elf is influenced by the flames of passion. They are hot headed, full of pride and confidence. This may lead to aggression. So hold back the insults, or you may end up with a black eye. However, if you point them at a shared enemy, they are all about quickly striking as a group with force while the ember is still hot. These enflamed passions drive them to avenge all good things that have been lost. The heat pours from their blood and the burning manifests itself in the form of fire.   Being in this state for too long, generally anything past a single day, can lead to obviously dangerous consequences.
