The creature's soul must be willing and at liberty to rejoin the body.

Additional effects of this spell:

Neutralizes any nonmagical poison and cures nonmagical diseases that affected the creature at the time it died.
Closes all mortal wounds, but does not restore missing body parts.
Coming back from the dead is an ordeal. The target gains a -4 to all attack rolls, saving throws, and ability checks.
