Darkvision. Due to living in the depths of the Underdark, only lit by a few Glowscrooms, the eyesight of Scrooms are vastly improved, capable of seeing 120ft in front of them in little or no light as if it was as bright as day. They cannot, however, see in color. Colorblind. Living in the Underdark may come with perks, but also downsides. The light down in the Scroom Colonies come from Glowscrooms, fungi that glow a pale blue. Centuries of exposure to this form of light led them to lose their sense of color. Scroom Skin. You skin is naturally tougher than other races, granting you +2 to your AC, along with resistance to bludgling damage. However, being made of fungi also makes you more suceptable to fire, granting you disadvantage to saving throws against any form of fire, and taking double damage from fire. Fungal Nature. You do not need to eat, drink, or sleep, instead, you need to spend time decomposing. Instead of taking a long or short rest, you spend that time inside the ground, buried in dirt. In order to rest, you must find a large amount of dirt, rubble, sand, or clay to sink into. When you decompose, your head sticks out of the ground, but the rest of your body is hiden. During your decompose, you consume the minerals of the resource you have hidden yourself in, filling your hunger, and granting you energy. If you do not decompose for at least 4 hours a day, then you suffer 2 ranks of exhaustion instead of one. Plant-Like Creature. You have proficiency on Nature checks.
