Description

Glacier was an ice-affinity sorcerer turned deadly warrior after he began to follow the Newly Righteous. The Newly Righteous saw great potential in Glacier's abilities and he agreed to be experimented upon by the group's top alchemists. After around 2 years of experimenting, his abilities began to hit its highest points. His core body temperature has been reduced to 50F degrees (10C) and his ice powers became far more powerful than before. He can completely change up his physical structure by covering himself up in a layer of magical ice that not only serves as armor, but also serves as a movement-enhancer. He can willingly create ice javelins straight from his hands and also knows several spells of his own. Cocky vigilantes that tried to stop Glacier were promptly impaled with ice javelins and their bodies encased in bitter ice. Even Glacier's physical presence can cause a chill to run over the surrounding area.   No one knows Glacier's original name or birthplace. He's been living under the codename of Glacier for 10 years and doesn't plan on leaving the Newly Righteous until he dies.

  • Armor of Ice: As an action, Glacier will cover his body with a layer of magical ice. He is now completely immune to cold damage and is resistant to fire damage. His movement speed becomes 50ft and can walk on water by freezing the surface. All of his unarmed strikes deal an extra D6 of cold damage. If he takes at least 35 points of fire damage, the armor fully melts. Can be reactivated with another action after 1 hour.
  • Zone of Cold (5-6): As an action, Glacier will release a blast of bitter-cold energy around him in a 15ft radius. All creatures in the area must make a DC-14 Constitution save. On a fail, their speed drops to 0, they take 1D10 cold damage, and they are now vulnerable to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage. On a success, their speed drops to half and they take 1/2 damage. Creatures who fail the save can repeat it as an action.
  • Pillar of Ice (5-6): As an action, Glacier can cause an area on the ground to erupt out a 5ftx5ft pillar of sharp ice. The creature in the target area must make a dexterity save. On a fail, they take 1D10 cold damage and 1D10 piercing damage and are also knocked prone. On a success, they take no damage but will still be knocked prone to an adjacent square. Range is 60ft.

  • Gauntlets: +7 to hit. 1D6+4 Bludgeoning
  • Ice Javelin: +7 to hit. 1D4+1D4+4 ice and piercing damage (40/80)
  • Ray of Frost: +6 to hit. 2D8 cold (100)
  • Chill Touch: +6 to hit 2D8 Necrotic (120)

Reactions

  • Encasement: While armor of ice is on, Glacier can completely encase himself in a chunk of strong ice in response to an attack or damaging effect. This ice has an AC of 16, 35 HP, and is resistent to non-magical slashing and piercing damage. While encased, Glacier can't move or take actions and heals by 1D10 HP per round. The encasement lasts for 1D4 rounds.

Legendary Actions

Glacier can take up to 3 legendary actions on his turn. He can do one of the following:  

  • Deflect Projectile: If any projectile flies towards Glacier and his ice armor is on, roll a D20. If it's 10 or higher, the projectile is blocked away. If the D20 rolls a 20, the projectile bounces back at the original shooter.
  • Move: Glacier can move up to his speed.
  • Ray of Frost: Make 1 Ray of Frost attack.
