Kurobozu (adapted from Pathfinder for D&D 5e)

((my first time doing this, so please be kind))   Undead monks thought to be locked away when their corrupted monastery was collapsed during the Spell Plague. Even after the world righted itself, there seemed to be no sign of the dark creatures. And then a group of adventurers, outsiders who knew nothing of the ways of Mulhorand or the lands of the East, entered the desert on a rescue mission. They managed to keep a great evil from being released from the desert, but the magical shock wave that erupted in once more sealing the great prison has now made other creatures waken. Pharaoh Nekhebet of the rebuilt City of Skuld has hired the adventurers to investigate the rumors of these creatures scuttling about in the darkness near the city of madness.     LE medium undead HP 79 (9d8+36) AC 20 Attack +6 +8 initiative STR 21 DEX 18 CON 0 INT 10 WIS 18 CHA 12 +4 Dex Speed 50 ft. +2 Wis Improved Unarmed Attack Improved Stunning Strike dark vision 60ft.   Usually found in rooms or hallways as solitary, in pairs, or guard groups of 3 to 5. Their speed makes them doubly terrifying. They sustain their existence by feeding on the breath of the living, which can then spread their apoxia to others.

Features

Steal Breath: As an action the Korubozu can steel the breath of a stunned or helpless victim. The victim must succeed on a DC 18 CON save vs disease or take 1d4 con (?) damage and take 1 point of exhaustion. Regardless of whether the save succeeds or fails, the victim cannot speak for 1 minute and their breath stinks of carrion. The victim is the carrier of this disease unless until cured by lesser restoration spell.   Echo of Life: The Kurobozu has many of the abilities it had in life as a living monk. It still has access to evasion, stunning strike, and flurry of blows, as well as unarmed strike damage. (For my campaign I have kept them at level 9 monk level to work with the party's levels).   Sage's Bane: Any target hit with the kurobozu's unarmed strike must make a DC 15 CON save or lose 1d4 Wisdom points. If attacking a living monk, the monk will lose Wisdom or ki points at DM discretion. For each Wisdom point the kurobozu heals 5 hit points.

Suggested Characteristics

The creature scuttles on all fours like a misshapen spider in tattered kasaya robes. The once saffron-colored cloth is dinged with grime and dust. When the bald head turns to look at you, the sickly gray skin is pulled taught over an emaciated form. The eyes are hollow and lifeless. As the echo of bones snapping and distending echo off the walls, a deep wailing moan pours from the gaping maw of its stretched open mouth just as it lunges toward you with inhuman speed.     Ithuul felt the pain of the fist as it connected with her spine.  She could not move.  She couldn't even speak to utter a spell.  As the creature ripped her mask from her face, she could not even scream in response to the dark glee upon its face.  The other creatures seemed to have a deep hatred for her brother Ilithin.  Surrounded by three of the creatures he could not get to her in time.  The undead thing wrapped all four limbs about her like a widow spider devouring her mate.  As the fetid breath filled her nose, she felt her lungs burn as it sucked her breath out of her, causing her vision to go black.
