Alton's Lucky Break

1-level Conjuration

Casting Time 1 reaction
Range Self
Duration Instantaneous
Components V, L

Luck quickly pulls you to a different location at your sudden behest. You teleport to any unoccupied space within 5 feet of you that you can see.   If you were being targeted with a melee or ranged attack, you may cast this after it is rolled and knowing if that attack would hit, and the attack automatically fails (though after-effects, such as area-of-effect damage, may still work on you). If you were being targeted with a spell or ability requiring a saving throw, the spell or ability fails only if you go outside the spell or ability's range or receive total cover or concealment. If you were in range of an area of effect spell or ability, you are unaffected as long as you manage to go outside the spell or ability's area.   The Lucky feat is required to cast this spell.
At higher levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, you can teleport an additional 5 feet for each slot level above 1st.
