You touch a creature, covering their form in thin layer of infectious toxins. Make a melee spell attack against the target. On a hit, the next time it takes bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage, it takes an additional 1d12 poison damage. The toxins persist for the duration, if the creature does not take bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage during this time, the spell ends and has no effect.   This spell's damage increases by 1d12 when you reach 5th level (2d12), 11th level (3d12) and 17th level (4d12).
