Casting Time: 1 reaction, which you take when you are hit by an attack or targeted by the magic missile spell

Components: Verbal

Duration: 1 minute

A warding group of semi-solid stars connected by tendrils of light to protect you for 1 minute. For the duration, any time you would be hit by an attack, the shield activates, giving you +7 AC against that attack only. The shield attempts to block up to 6 attacks this way, including the one that would have struck you, before expiring. Magic missiles that would hit you when you cast this spell are instead absorbed into the shield, giving you an additional chance to block an attack for each one that you absorb. This spell does not stack with the Shield spell.

At higher levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the amount of times the shield can activate before it expires is increased by 2 for each slot level above 3rd.
