You have been taught to think years ahead rather than moments ahead. When you finish a Long Rest, choose one of Attack Rolls, Ability Checks, or Saving Throws. When you fail a roll of the chosen type, you may choose to reroll it. You must use the new result, and you cannot use this feat to reroll it again. You may do so a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus, regaining all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.
