'Le Chauffeur' is a side-by-side shotgun designed by Fabricant du Renoir. Its simplicity and production meant that it had made it into a lot of households in the civilian market as both a home defense and sport-shooting weapon prior to The Cataclysm. Renoir had some interesting choices for its marketing slogans, such as: "With a Renoir in hand, your weapon is your brush to paint with." or "The world is your canvas with a Renoir." and even the less subtle and much more threatening "Paint the walls red with a Renoir". They were generally regarded as 'classy' firearms despite being made for all walks of life. Despite this 'classy' reputation, the Renoir shotguns are still very ubiquitous even to this day.
