Searing Smite

1-level Evocation

Casting Time: Bonus Action, which you take immediately after hitting a creature with a melee weapon or an Unarmed Strike
Range/Area: Self

Duration: 1 minute
Attack/Save: Consitution Save
Damage/Effect: Fire
As you hit the target, your strike flares with white-hot intensity, and the target takes an extra 1d6 Fire damage from the attack and ignites with magical fire. At the start of each of its turns until the spell ends, the target takes 1d6 Fire damage and then must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the spellcontinues. On a successful save, the spell ends.
At higher levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, any damage dealt by the spell increases by 1d6 foreach slot level above 1st.
