Deep Keeper's Anchor

Weapon

Very Rare Requires Attunement

This Anchor is considered a maul for the sake of proficiencies.

Weapon Properties: Heavy, Siege, Thrown (20/60), Two-Handed
You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. It has the thrown property with a normal range of 20 feet and a long range of 60 feet. When submerged fully in water, this magic weapon’s thrown ranges are doubled, so long as it remains submerged in water during the throw. Immediately after the thrown attack, the weapon flies back to your hand.

Weapon Skills: Crippling Strike(Melee), Greater Slam, Shattering Blow

Unique Weapon Skill: Hook and Chain

Hook and Chain Description
As part of your attack action, you may spend a weapon skill use to replace one thrown weapon attack using this weapon, with a Hook and Chain attack. A target hit by this attack takes the weapons damage as normal and must succeed an acrobatics or athletics skill check against your Weapon Save DC. Targets that fail their skill check are dragged to a space within 5 feet of you, along the same path this weapon returns to you in.

Description

Attached to a thick iron chain, this beaten and worn anchor has presumably seen hundreds of battles in the past. Little can be gleaned from the tarnished and choral ridden surface of the weapon, however upon close inspection of the anchor and chains, there appear to be hundreds of small arcane and abyssal runes under the wear and tear.
