Once per long rest you can cast the ascended spell using only the higher of the two spell slots.

"Stand tall against the world, for you only lose when you admit defeat." -Tieran You touch a willing creature and a protective magical force surrounds it until the spell ends. The target's base AC becomes 12 + your spellcasting modifier. The target also regains HP equal to twice your spellcasting modifier. Any wasted HP becomes temporary hit points. The spell ends if you cast it again. Ascended Spells. This Spell costs 2 spell slots to cast. A 2nd-level spell slot and a 1st-level spell slot.
