Description

A mechanical war-machine from the Mid-to-late 500s EOW, Kampfautomat "Otto" has seen the horrors of war and conflict firsthand. For two hundred years Otto served in the Zobelisch Freie Armee, fighting on the frontlines to liberate Sablera from Paciellen occupation. Otto's model was decommissioned and replaced by the Kampfautomat "Klaus" model of warforge in 625. Following the end of the Old Wars, Otto was sold to the Luxtrec Feywild Academy as a historical artifact, but rather than deactivate the automaton, they recommissioned him.   Today, Otto serves as a Grove Guardian in the caverns below the Luxtrec Feywild Academy.


Panzerkrieg. Any critical hit against Otto becomes a normal hit. Any spell or attack that has an area of effect cannot not pass through Otto. Otto automatically fails any dexterity saving rolls to reduce or avoid damage.   Dread Nought. Allied creatures within 5 feet of Otto recieve a +2 to their AC and have advantage on saving throws against being frightened.   Internal Fargab. Otto is able to send and receive messages of twenty-five words or less to and from any fargab unit within 18 miles of it. It is also capable of recording and replaying these messages.   Constructed Nature. Otto does not require air, food, drink, or sleep. Magic cannot put it to sleep.

Actions

Multiattack. Otto makes two slam attacks.   Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +13 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 20 (3d8 + 7) bludgeoning damage.   Deploy Cover (Recharge 5/6). Otto releases a cloud of steam from its boiler, covering a 25 ft radius around it. The cloud spreads around corners and any creature of medium size or smaller is concealed while within the cloud of steam. The cloud lasts for 5 minutes or until a wind of moderate or greater speed (at least 10 miles per hour) disperses it.
