A winged people who originally come from the elemental plane of Air, Aarakocra soar through the skys whever they wander. The first aarakocra served the wind Duke, and are imbuded with a measure of their masters' power over the winds.

Aarkocra look like large birds and thus are sometimes called Birdfolk. Standing upright they can reach 6 feet tall, and they have long and narrow legs that taper to sharp talons. Feathers cover their bodies, and have the same varaitions as Avian species fond all over the world.
