Components: Verbal, Somatic, Material
Materials: A marble for each sphere
Duration: Magician's proficiency bonus x 10 minutes
The magician creates a number of visible spheres orbs equal to zis proficiency bonus. The spheres are transluscent with radials of light emanating from the centre to the skins of the sphere.   Each sphere is 2 inches across, has:
  • hit point = magician proficiency bonus
  • AC = 10 + magician proficiency bonus
  • Fly speed of 40"
  • Each spehere can see out to 120" (normal vision only)
  • Stealth = 8 + magician proficiency bonus
  • Perception = 8 + magician proficiency bonus, and is subject to illusions, darkness, fog, and any other factors that would affect the magician's ability to receive visual information about zis surroundings (normal vision only). A sphere traveling through darkness must find its way by touch.
The spheres move out, scout and return as directed by the magician when casting the spell.   The magician issues specific instructions when creating the spheres using no more than twenty-five words. Any knowledge possessed known by magician is known by the spherese.g. if the magician knows what a Phyrexi Horror looks like, the spheres know what a Phyrexi Horror looks like.   An example of an instruction may be "Go and locate any elves in the immediate area, watch them for one minute then return to me"   When the spheres return to the magician each replays everything it saw during its existence. It takes an eye 1 round to replay 10 minutes of observed images. After relaying its findings, a sphere diasppears.   A sphere ceases to exist when:
  • It goes beyond the range of the spell;
  • It is reduced to 0 HP;
  • It is succesffully dispelled, it ceases to exist.
A magician knows when a sphere is ceases to exist.   If the magician wants increased stealth, the spheres can be sent out using half movement and have advantage on all stealth checks.  
At higher levels:
  • When cast using a 6th level spell slot the spheres can "hear" as well as "see"
  • When cast using an 9th level spell slot the spheres can use "true seeing"
