City Elf

After the war that divided the elves, those who migrated into the various cities of other civilizations faced difficult times. They adjusted to cities enough that they could no longer live in the wild like their brethren. However, having no city of their own, they could never fully adjust. In many cities, they were seen as job thieves, parasites, and outsiders, regardless of how long they lived there. In fact, their lifespan often worked against them, invoking the envy and ire of those who aged around them. Yet despite that, the good moments and those who welcomed and cherished the City Elves kept them from giving up on cities. Now, a quick glance at a City elf would trick you into believing they have no connection to Silver Elves or any other elf when, in fact, they share the same blood. Generation after generation, City Elves have endured discrimination and hardships, fundamentally changing to the point where they're almost unrecognizable compared to their elven brethren. Surviving using their innate talents to make the most of their situation and preserve their pride, City Elves have carved out a place for themselves within several of the greatest cities in the world.   City Elves have skin tones, hair color, and eye color that range similarly to humans.   City Elves, as discriminated people struggling between preserving their heritage or adapting to their situation, typically name their children using Silver Elven names or names from the dominant culture of the city they were born in.
