Legendary Requires Attunement
Grants access to the following abilities, uses resetting on a long rest (or uninterrupted use of the staff for 8 hours).
Dimension Door: (Active, 1 use). Teleport to any visible location within 500 feet. You may take with you whatever you can carry.
Void Rift: (Active, 3 uses). Fire a bolt of cosmic void as an action at a surface within 250 feet. Upon colliding, open a void tear at the target. Fire a second bolt to connect two void tears with a rift. Any being may pass through the tear and reappear at the other side with no movement cost. Each tear lasts 10 minutes.
Void Resistance: (Passive). You take 50% reduced damage from void attacks.
Strengthen your hand: (Passive). Your mage hand, and any conjured arcane construct / familiar has greatly improved physical strength.
Your attunement to the Staff of the Herald grants access to the following abilities:
Flight: (Passive). You gain 60ft of movement in flight, and are able to hover.
Regenerative Arcana: (Passive). Every 12 seconds of combat (3 turns), your highest level used spell slot is refreshed.
Unstable Energy: (Passive). If you reach 0 hit points, the staff will infuse you with latent arcana, restoring 50 hit points but rendering the staff dormant for 2 days.

A long inky-black staff made of an unknown cosmic metal, orbited by enchanted purple and azure shards freely in the air. At the top, a swirling murky black orb containing forbidden secrets and dark technologies.
