Hexenschuss

1-level Necromancy

Casting Time: 1 action
Range/Area: 60 feet
Components: V, S
Duration: Instantaneous
You target a creature within range and utter a curse, causing a sudden, excruciating pain in the target's body. The victim might feel as if their bones are momentarily twisting, their back is sharply contorting, or their limbs are wracked with intense agony.   The target must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the target takes 3d6 necrotic damage, and the pain lingers, causing one of the following additional effects (your choice when you cast the spell):
  • Twisted Limb: The target's movement speed is reduced by 10 feet until the end of its next turn, as their leg or arm temporarily twists in an unnatural way.

  • Agonizing Spasm: The target cannot take reactions until the end of its next turn, as they are momentarily incapacitated by a sharp spasm in their back.

  • Bone-Wracking Pain: The target has disadvantage on the next attack roll it makes before the end of its next turn, as their bones throb with residual pain.
On a successful save, the target takes half damage and does not suffer any additional effects.
At higher levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 1st.
