ability score increase: Your Intelligence score increases by 2, and your Dexterity score increases by 1.
age: An Arachnar reaches adulthood around the age of 13 and usually live to be around 100.
alignment: Arachnar reside in their nests for most of their lives, leaving mainly to hunt for food, but are more than willing to slaughter any who intrude no matter their intentions - leaning to the more chaotic side of neutral.

speed: Your base walking speed is 30 feet, and you have a base climbing speed of 15 feet.
Languages: You can speak, read, and write Common and one extra language of your choice.
race features:
Darkvision. Accustomed to the dark interiors of your nest, you can see clearly in the dark. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern colour in darkness, only shades of grey.   Venomous Bite. You can use your sharp teeth to attack a foe. Landing a hit will result in 1d4 piercing damage + an amount of poison damage equal to your proficiency bonus.   Hunter's Eyes. Due to your eyes having been trained for the hunt, you have proficiency in the Perception skill.   Web Storage. Due to your spider-like body, you hold 30 feet of rope-like webbing that you can use as a rope to climb or a line to walk on. Alternatively, you can use 5 feet of your webbing as a ball-like projectile attack that does 0 damage but grapples a creature, causing them to fall prone to the floor or stick them to a wall they are within 5 feet of, reducing their speed to 0. If shot at an creatures that is airborne, that creature's speed is reduced to 0 and they fall to the ground, taking respective fall damage. To use the attack, make a ranged weapon attack against the creature's AC on a successful hit, the attack carries out, on a miss, the attack fails. You recover 1d8 + 4 feet of webbing per long rest.   Webbed Experience. You have spent your whole life travelling across webs in your nest. Due to this, you can take the dash action as a bonus action when walking across a line of web.
