You touch a creature and imbue it with the forces of destiny. The next time the creature makes a weapon or spell attack during this spell’s duration, the attack automatically hits without the creature needing to make an attack roll, and the attack scores a critical hit.

At higher levels: When you use a spell slot of 8th level or higher, for each slot level higher than 7th, the creature rolls an additional 2d12 when determining the extra damage for the critical hit.
