Once before the start of your next turn when a creature who can hear you makes an attack against the chosen creature, you can grant the attack roll a bonus equal to your spellcasting ability modifier. If the attack hits, it deals an additional 1d4 damage.   The spell’s additional damage increases by 1d4 when you reach 5th level (2d4), 11th level (3d4), and 17th level (4d4).
