    Developed somewhat shortly before the international cold war ended between Jazirah and Karrah, the Union Defense AMR-82 found its way into the hands of quite a few factions before the Cataclysm occurred. Developed to utilize one of the more powerful anti-materiel rounds and use a semi-automatic action combined with a moving barrel assembly, the weapon was found to be somewhat easier to use than its counterparts. Eventually, shortly before the Cataclysm occurred, they had also developed 25mm HE rounds for the weapon, though the recoil was too much for ordinary use.
