Description

Protector of the Gully Sheriff Jamison is a dominating presence over the entirety of the Red Tear River. Standing at 6'5", 280 pounds, his broad shoulders and barrel chest make him easy to spot no matter what saloon, whorehouse, or town hall he may step into. He's a stern, no nonsense sort of lawman. His close cropped hair is always kept in place and his clean shaven face makes it easy to see his tight line of a mouth and strong jaw.   Jamison has a well-earned reputation as a cruel authoritarian. Criminals in the valley are just as oft to go missing as wind up in his cells, but they never avoid capture for long once Jamison catches wind of their activities. He has no qualms about shooting first and will often only bother to ask question if he thinks you have important info. In spite of this, he does secretly love the chase, as long as he wins.   The people of the valley are unsure of this sheriff. He seems to be an unfaltering judge of character. As far as they can tell, as the valley falls apart and society seems ripe to crumble, the sheriff has singlehandedly kept innocents safe. However, they fear that if he gets it wrong, any one of them may wind up on the wrong end of his malice. He is a welcome sight in many a small town. And he does have a soft spot for the children of the valley.   Leader of the Blood Hounds Jamison leads the entire deputy force of the valley, around 20 men, but his loyal four are a group that goes by the name "The Bloodhounds". These are the only four that Jamison trusts implicitly (though he disagrees with some of their methods and the idiotic name they have given themselves) and Jamison trusts them to handle most minor issues or criminals he thinbks are beneath his time. Jamison meets with his Bloodhounds once every two weeks but he always has at least one with him. Usually, this is his right-hand man, the loudmouthed Wesley who goes by the name "Top Dawg" amongst the other blood hounds (a name that Gordon really hates)   A situation that requires Jamison to ride out with all his dawgs is one that must pose a significant threat to the valley and the folk tremble in fear when they see his posse riding through town. They know that when Jamison has his Hounds with him, they're going to eat.   Idealistic Authoritarian Jamison sees the valley as rife with criminal scum and filled with a population crying out for the rise of a new authority. When the spring dried up and the river stopped, Jamison was shortly after contacted by an Efreeti diplomat from the city of Bronze. Jamison was given a vision of the Plane of Fire and its sever society and he believes the Valley would benefit from the injection of new strength.
